Euroweb has made a significant commitment to sustainability by harnessing the power of the sun to run our Eastbourne factory and warehouse. Since December 2022, we have been utilizing solar energy to meet our energy needs, minimize our carbon footprint, and contribute to a cleaner environment. Our new solar installation is a testament to our dedication to reducing our impact on the environment and embracing innovative solutions for a greener future.
To achieve our goal of sustainability, we installed 204 solar panels on the roofs of our factory, capable of producing up to 84kWh of clean, renewable energy.
Our solar panels have been performing exceptionally well since installation, producing more electricity than our facilities consume. This allows us to give back to the grid, supporting the local community and furthering our commitment to sustainability. By utilizing solar energy, we are significantly reducing our greenhouse gas emissions and overall carbon footprint, setting an example for other businesses to follow.
Our solar installation also brings economic benefits to Euroweb. By generating our own electricity, we are reducing our reliance on grid-supplied energy and protecting ourselves from fluctuating energy prices.
